Not all events are created equal, and neither is the jewellery. Here’s a quick cheat sheet for styling jewellery based on the occasion:
Think statement earrings or a bold bracelet, but not both. Don’t upstage the bride, but DO show your style.
Mixed metals, layered necklaces, or stackable rings can feel polished without looking too “done.”
Bring pieces that are versatile, packable, and won’t cause heartbreak if damaged or lost (leave the heirlooms at home).
Don’t Overstyle — Let One Piece Speak
Jewellery should elevate your outfit, not compete with it. Instead of layering everything at once, choose a focal point:
Off the shoulder dress? Wear a bold earring and skip the necklace.
Deep V-neckline? Choose a lariat or drop pendant.
